I was surprised this morning to see traffic to my client Stephen Sexauer’s Tampa FL homes for sale site had suddenly doubled. With a little Sherlock Holmes work, I determined that over half of the traffic to the site is coming directly from Point2 syndicated listings from Google Maps. Apparently Point2Agent began a new syndication venue in December 2009.
Since this is fairly a new site and I’ve just barely begun search engine optimization work on it, every little bit of extra traffic helps — and a single referring site that doubles the traffic to a site is really amazing! Jennifer Anderson, my friend at Point2Agent who manages Point2’s syndication program (and who originally recruited me to do custom design for Point2Agent members) reported to me that Point2Agent had tweaked their Google feed in December. Congratulations Jennifer for great work and results!
